A Guide to the Lincoln City Outlets: Stores, Shopping, and Tips

— Nikki Cleveland

Lincoln City might be best known for its beaches, but there’s plenty of shopping to be done here, too. Whether you’re looking for a new pair of shoes, some coastal souvenirs, or just something to do between beach walks, the Lincoln City Outlets are worth adding to your itinerary.

Located just off Highway 101, the Lincoln City Outlets feature more than 40 stores, restaurants, and entertainment options. You’ll find everything from designer brands and outdoor gear to a claw machine arcade, a playground, and some seriously good coffee.

Here’s what you should know before you go.

What stores are at the Lincoln City Outlets?

The Lincoln City Outlets have a little bit of everything, whether you’re shopping for something specific or just browsing.

For clothing, you’ll find familiar names like Maurices, American Eagle, Old Navy, Levi’s, and Torrid. If you’re looking for something a little more upscale, there’s also a Coach Outlet, where you can browse handbags, wallets, and accessories.

Planning to spend some time outdoors during your Oregon Coast vacation? Stop by Columbia Sportswear, The North Face, Nike, or Pendleton. They’re good places to look for an extra layer, a rain jacket, or some comfortable clothes for exploring the coast.

If shoes are on your shopping list, check out Famous Footwear and Rack Room Shoes, along with the footwear selections at several of the athletic and outdoor stores.

And for something that smells considerably better than the shoes you’ve been wearing on the beach, there’s Bath & Body Works, with its familiar selection of candles, lotions, soaps, and fragrances.

These are just some of the shopping options available. You can browse the full, updated store directory on the Lincoln City Outlets website.

There’s a new Toys“R”Us in Lincoln City

Yes, Toys“R”Us is back in Lincoln City!

The new Toys“R”Us location at the outlets gives families another reason to stop by. Whether you’re looking for a vacation souvenir, a birthday gift, or something to keep the kids entertained back at your condo, it’s worth checking out.

It’s also a fun bit of nostalgia for adults who remember wandering the aisles of Toys“R”Us as kids.

Just don’t be surprised if your quick shopping trip turns into a slightly longer visit.

Try your luck at Claw City Arcade

Shopping isn’t the only thing to do at the Lincoln City Outlets.

Funtastic Arcade & Claw City offers a break from browsing with claw machines, games, and prizes. You’ll find machines filled with plush toys and other goodies, and there’s even a trade-up program that lets players combine their winnings for bigger prizes.

There’s no general admission fee, so you can stop in, load a game card, and play as much or as little as you’d like.

It’s an especially fun stop for families, although adults can get pretty competitive over those claw machines, too.

You can learn more about the games and prizes on the Claw City website.

Salt has some of the best coffee and food at the outlets

Shopping works up an appetite, and our favorite place to take a break is Salt.

If you’re looking for a good cup of coffee or something to eat while you’re at the outlets, this is our recommendation. It’s a great place to start your shopping trip with a coffee or stop halfway through when you need to refuel.

Rather than leaving the shopping center to find somewhere to eat, you can grab something at Salt and get right back to exploring.

There are other food options at the outlets, too, including places to grab a quick meal or a sweet treat. But if you’re asking us where we’d go first, it’s Salt.

There’s a playground for kids, too

If you’re visiting the Lincoln City Outlets with younger children, you’ll be happy to know there’s an outdoor playground on the property.

It’s a convenient place for kids to burn off some energy between stores, especially if they’re not quite as enthusiastic about shopping as the adults.

Between the playground, Claw City Arcade, and the new Toys“R”Us, the outlets have several ways to keep younger visitors entertained.

You might even manage to get some shopping done.

You can even get a workout at Point Break Fitness

One of the more unexpected businesses at the Lincoln City Outlets is Point Break Fitness, a full gym located right in the shopping center.

If you’re visiting Lincoln City and want to keep up with your regular workout routine, Point Break Fitness offers single-day passes and welcomes walk-ins during designated hours.

The gym has exercise equipment for strength training and cardio, making it a convenient option for visitors who don’t want to skip a workout while they’re on vacation.

According to the gym’s posted information, walk-ins are welcome from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, although it’s always a good idea to confirm current hours before visiting.

A local parking tip: Use the parking garage

Here’s a tip that can save you some frustration: you don’t have to fight for a parking spot directly in front of the stores.

The Lincoln City Outlets have a two-level parking garage, along with additional parking areas.

While most visitors naturally head for the parking spaces in front of the storefronts, the garage can be an easier option, especially when the main shopping area is busy.

You might have to walk a little farther to reach your first store, but that’s usually preferable to circling the same crowded parking lot looking for an open space.

If you’re visiting on a busy weekend or during the summer, keep the garage in mind before you start making laps.

Tips for visiting the Lincoln City Outlets

A little planning can make your shopping trip even easier.

Check for sales before you go. Outlet stores often have promotions and clearance deals, so it’s worth checking the shopping center’s website for current offers.

Bring a jacket. The Lincoln City Outlets are an open-air shopping center, meaning you’ll be walking outside between stores. This is still the Oregon Coast, after all.

Give yourself enough time. Between the stores, arcade, playground, and food options, there’s enough here to spend a couple of hours without getting bored.

Check individual store hours. Not every business necessarily follows the same schedule, particularly restaurants, entertainment venues, and the gym.

Remember the parking garage. Seriously. It’s worth knowing about.

Where are the Lincoln City Outlets?

The Lincoln City Outlets are located at 1500 SE East Devils Lake Road, Lincoln City, OR 97367. The shopping center is just off Highway 101, making it an easy stop while exploring Lincoln City.

Stay close to the shopping (and even closer to the beach)

One of the nice things about visiting Lincoln City is that you don’t have to choose between shopping, restaurants, and spending time on the beach. When you stay at D Sands Rentals, you’re right in the heart of Lincoln City, with oceanfront condos and plenty of local attractions nearby.

Spend the morning looking for treasures at the outlets, grab a coffee at Salt, and head back to your condo for an afternoon by the ocean.

Because as much as we love a good shopping trip, the best view in Lincoln City still isn’t inside a store.

Explore our oceanfront condos at D Sands Rentals.
